This initiative was a special one this was the first time that we worked with a group of women also known as (Mahila Bachat Gaath). These are the active groups in society which basically works on the model of woman empowerment and offers various services in both private and government levels. It was an opportunity for our team to work with them on the ground so closely. The whole event was divided into two parts to follow the covid-19 norms. It was a great joy to see kids from various slums of Santacruz     ( E ) rushing down to the location to participate in the various activities.

 The first half of the event was completely dedicated for 5^th to 10^th Std students. We conducted an aptitude test, a memory retention test and block building competition.  The winners from various competitions were awarded with exciting gifts like sonata watches, oxford dictionaries and hero cycles. This part was full of competitive energy and sportsmanship. The second part was for 1st to 4th and is our most favorite part where our little bundle of joys do everything they love. The excitement is on the peak during this time. The little ones participate in sit and draw competition with unbeatable enthusiasm and joy. Their imagination and curiosity to learn always excites us. Best artworks were awarded with exciting gifts. At the end each and every kid was gifted  an educational kit with an intention to support their daily educational needs.
